Just a pebble

To sit beside a cool flowing stream, not a river, but a quit stream as it moves passed your presents. It is unaware of you being there, it just flows ahead. If my memory banks are close to correct, a moving stream will cleans or purify it’s self about ever thousands yards. With no regard for what may enter this moving body of water, it will be either gone or cleansed in a very short time.
Then to find a pebble hold it for a moment look at it, see the lines of time on its surface. Then to put a name to that pebble, finances, kids, spouse, work, emotions the choice is mine and mine alone. I take my pebble and toss it into the moving current of the stream. You may not even see it hit the bottom. But you know that in just a short distance in either footage or in time.

The pebble will be cleansed.
