Saw WHAT?

Reporting from Calexico, Calif. -- A Mexican restaurant in this border town is drawing the curious and the faithful to see what some believe is a likeness of the Virgin Mary that appeared miraculously on a griddle.

I am going back about twenty-five years or more to Bakersfield, Ca. During the Christmas season there was a home in the Niles St. area where there was said to be a likeness for the Virgin Mary which appeared on the side of a home. I went by there several times, just to feed my curiosity and took some pictures of where the image was seen. Sorry, I never saw anything close to what others saw. Yet, these folks yard was full of candles, flowers, crosses, statues and other religious artifacts. There was a very large crowd coming and going each night, even to the place that the police department sent officers to control traffic in the area. The Catholic Priest made several trips there to, “Bless the image of the Virgin Mary.”
A couple of years ago there was a grilled cheeses sandwich now this. SORRY I am one who does not put much in these sightings, except the curiosity of how many will follow and be persuaded.

Just my thoughts as I pass this way;

Amazing how often the Virgin Mary has been seen over the years - and in a sandwich? Don't know why people make so much over it as as we can see Jesus everywhere, everyday - just step out the door and look around. He's all creation!!! And easily seen.

If you look hard enough, you can most likely see whatever you want!!!
Like Karen, I enjoy Creation and thank the Lord for it.

Our God displays His presents at will. Thank you both for stopping by.
