Influence

As I pass this way.
I must stop and think of all those great men who reached out a hand to me as I passed through their life. The hands of these men made many changes I my life. Changes which have produced who I am this day. Is change good? Yes! For without change there would be no growth or advancement. The real question is in which area of my life is changing and who or what has influence that change? This is where the problems come in. Please allow me to post a question to you. Who or what are you allowing to influence the changes you are making in the core of who you are?

That is a good Question. I must say that Bro I.H. Terry influenced my life in a positive way. That is one man that I miss dearly. He was a great friend to me. He always had words of wisdom and gave one food for thought. The other man in my life that has a great impact of powerful positive influence is my pastor, Brian Allard. But God is the Greatest of them all in my life. Who could ask for more? I am blessed!

Great Post and Good question.

Brother Clark-

I am allowing every sermon I hear, every bit of reading I do, every word I hear to influence me. Of course I will not agree with everything I read or hear, but I will thoughtfully consider them all, compare them to the Word of God and inculcate into my life those that are logically and spiritually sound and that are pertinent to me.

New subject: What consideration caused you to choose Blogspot as your blogging platform?

Are you a veteran? If you are, I especially give you honor today. If you're not--regular ole honor and good wishes for the day.

Sis. Buxton:
The main reason I chose Blog Spot, is that I have been a fan of Gmail from almost day one. My address goes back to the Bata version of when they were just starting. Also as I looked at it seemed to be quick and easy. I am not that literate with a Blog, but I will improve through the learning curve. If I don’t fall of the curve!!
No, I have never serviced in the military. Last year after Veterans Day I was listing to Mr. Prayger on the radio. He made mention of shaking the hand of all and any wearing the uniform of the U.S. Military. I have been doing ever since and once or twice got some strange looks.
